Totally Wicked

Robyn, Glinda & Erin

after the show after

our back stage tour!

Excited fans in the

background waiting

for autographs!

Robyn & Erin Wilson,

Wicked cast member

backstage at the Orpheum

Theater, Memhis, Tn

THANKS for the backstage tour, ERIN,

you were wickedly awesome in Wicked!

Maria and Robyn,

The big night after waiting several years! Inside the Orpheum,
the excitment mounts!

THE Stage Door! Erin walked us around backstage and we got to see all the props and held the bottle of GREEN elixir, how fun. We saw moneky masks, wigs, costumes, Kansas Sunflowers, stage scenery suspended high above the stage, the Great Wizard of Oz mechanical face, and Glinda's magic wand. We even got to speak to Madame Morrible for a few minutes. She was really nice. Thanks Erin for giving us a totally awesome Wicked experience. You look great on stage!!!

So tonight we got to go see Wicked and it was totally WICKED!!!!!
We sat 10 rows back from the stage and we got to go back stage after the show, thanks to Erin Wilson, a Wicked Cast Member who did a 'wickedly' excellent job in the show!!!! We were EXCITED to get to meet a cast member! Luckily Ruben got to meet Erin before the show when we had trouble getting our tickets at willcall. He had to run down the block to the stage door to find her. Erin was nice enough to run back to the lobby to get the tickets released, just 30 minutes before curtain. Seeing someone we knew on stage made it even more of a wicked experience! It was an amazing show and we are glad that we got to see it! The HAPPY ending was the best way to end a perfectly wicked day!!!!!!!!!

Trek

On June 4-6, Robyn went on trek with the stake. She had the best time. Not only was it fun,it was really spiritual. On the first day it was raining ALL day, most of the other girls were super muddy but some how Robyn stayed clean.that night they learned how to square dance and dance the Virgina Real(i think that's what is called). The second day was the day of none stop walking. But of course they stopped for lunch where they wrote in their journals and played games. Robyn got 3rd in the pull stick for the girls. After lunch the boys had to leave, representing the men leaving for the Mormon Balaton. She said that it was the hardest time for the girls. When the boys finally came back, the girls seemed to appreciate them more. Finally the last day came. For breakfast they had ash cakes(flour mixed w/ water and put strait into the ashes), it was not THAT bad. They also made it to where some of the family members died and some got sick so they weren't able to help them. It was the hardest day. There were crazy hills and everyone was exhausted.Right before the last hill they got their letters from their parents...she cried as soon as she opened her and it just made her want to get to "Zion" even more.At the top of the brutal, but last hill, a group of parents singing Come Come Ye Saints, and all she could do was smile.Robyn even bore her testimony at the testimony meeting. She said that she has never before felt the spirit that strong. She can't wait till the next trek, and she even plans on going as a ma and pa once she is married!

Robyn's band trip to Florida

On April 23-26, Robyn went with her band to Florida. While they were there they went to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM(Disney's Hollywood Studio), and competed in a parade and concert band competion. Robyn enjoyed the parks but said that Disneyland is way better. The band swept up all the throphies and were named Grand Champions. "WE TOTALLY DOMINATED!!!!" said by Robyn. This competion is held over six weeks and that week the AHS band and choir won. In the next few weeks we will find out what they placed over the whole six weeks. GOOOO AHS BAND!!!!!!

Well we have been extremely busy but here is a recap of the past weeks. We already told of the snow in March. But what we didn't mention was that we noticed a HUGE icicle. It grew about 5 feet!!! After a few days it finally warmed up and the icicle fell. ON March 10 mommy and daddy had their anniversary. However, on that same day, mommy had the Relief Society birthday celebration it was for 250 people and she had to make the cake. 1 week later it was time for SPRING BREAK!!! (sorry i don't know how to turn the pix yet)
